Deepak choreographer biography

One of the most respected names in Indian classical dance fraternity, Shri Deepak Mazumdar, is an artiste par excellence.

Deepak ji is known for his deep artistic sensitivity, subtlety in abhinaya and a mesmerizing stage presence. His scholarly approach lends an in-depth understanding of characters and a unique perspective to their expression. He has the honour of receiving Senior Fellowship at national level and graded A Top at Doordarshan Kendra. He is also a very imaginative & versatile choreographer and nattuvanar and has created many unusual items for the traditional repertoire. His dance productions have won high acclaim and appreciation for their aesthetically sleek presentation, novel approach and innovative choreography. His creative works & presentations have not only won the hearts of his audience who are often left spellbound but have also won him many honors and accolades.
